Terms Of Services

Services

Wisteria London provide event decoration services for birthdays, proposals, weddings and many more. Services such as the listed items below are outsourced by third party vendors independent of Wisteria London, and therefore, costs of these services are not included in our quotes.

  1. ) Production lighting (sparklers, smoke machines, event atmosphere/stage lighting)
  2. ) Flooring (vinyl, carpeting, monograms)
  3. ) Stage building
  4. ) Furniture supplies such as, guest banquet tables and chairs, for more than 12 guests
  5. ) Stationaries (Seating plan, name place cards)
  6. ) Crockery for more than 12 guests (Drinking glasses, cutleries, eating plates/bowls)

Where the above services are requested, we have a list of trusted vendors for recommendation.

Payment

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be made to secure each booking and expect the balance to be paid no later than a week before the date of an event. For weddings, we require deposits to be paid no later than a month before the date of the wedding.

Please note that deposits are required to secure the date of a clients event and cover any pre-requisites tor the event such as, required items, logistics and support staff Considering this, all deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations or Postponements

Client (s) may cancel this contract at any time by serving Wisteria London with a written notice via email to [email protected]

If there is a chance that the clients event may be cancelled or postponed, this must be brought to the attention of Wisteria London immediately via email to [email protected] or via a phone call to 07956236971.

Please note that if the full payment has been made, and the cancellation is brought to the attention of Wisteria London within 6 weeks to the date of the event, or less than 6 weeks to the date of the event, the client will not only lose any deposit paid, but will also lose up to 50% of any other payment made, aside from the deposit due to arrangements that would have already been made by Wisteria London, in preparation for the event.

If the postponed date of an event is unavailable, Wisteria London will only be able to provide a service on available dates, which will be shared to the client via email.

Unavailability and Liability

If on the day of an event Wisteria London is not able to decorate for whatever reason, including but not limited to an incident, accident, or illness. Wisteria London will provide a substitute decorator in the place of Wisteria London. If Wisteria London is unable to do this, or a client chooses against having another decorator, the client will be entitled to a full refund including any deposits paid.

Event Set-up Time

Set-up times agreed between a client and Wisteria London must be adhered to, to allow enough time for Wisteria London’s staff to complete the decoration work agreed.

Should the event space be inaccessible during the agreed set-up time, Wisteria London will not be liable for any decoration work that is as a result rushed or tampered by guests upon arrival.

Event Pack-up Time

Agreed pack-up time between clients and Wisteria London must be adhered to. Wisteria London will plan to clear all decor items at the agreed time, however, should clients fail to comply to the agreed time for pack-up, Wisteria London reserves the right to keep the damage deposit, and issue no refund to the client. This will cover all expenses relating to any unplanned changes, such as logistics and staff arrangements.

Damage Deposit

A refundable damage deposit must be paid by clients prior to an event as insurance to cover decoration items such as vases, candelabras, charger plates and all other items used for an event. Should any of these items break or damage during an event, the client will be charged accordingly from the damage deposit.

Where a damage deposit is required, a separate line item will be included in the clients invoice to cover charges.

Travel and Accommodation

For events taking place outside London, Essex and Kent, clients are responsible for all travel costs for the team of decorators at Wisteria London, and where required, accommodation costs.

All payments for Travel and/or accommodation must be paid no later than 3 months before the date of an event. Failure to do so can result in major disruptions to our service, which may lead to a cancellation of service by Wisteria London, where the client will be issued a refund excluding any deposit already paid to Wisteria London by the client.

Where Travel and accommodation charges apply, a separate line item will be included in the clients invoice to cover travel and accommodation charges.

Event Packages

Wisteria London offer packages for some of our services. All packages are inclusive of labour and logistics costs however, prices may be subject to increase if event location is not within London, Essex or Kent. Prices are also exclusive of congestion charges where applicable. If a clients event falls within a congestion charging zone, please note that a separate line item will be included in the clients invoice to cover congestion charges. Clients are responsible for congestion charges and must cover the cost for congestion charges where applicable.
